The language industry is anything but homogenous. Its different stakeholders' goals are sometimes in line with each other, but more often they seem to be diametrically opposed. Ironically, it's technology that exemplifies and furthers that opposition while at the same time serving as the connecting link. The presenter will share his analysis of this situation, providing encouragement for technology developers to embrace a unifying role and for practitioners to acknowledge diversity while celebrating common interests.
